Installation
Depending on the way you would like to use it, Railo is available in different bundles. You can install Railo as a single installation on an existing application server or as a complete application server or you can just download and play.
Railo Express
Railo Express is a live version which means that it does not need to be installed. Just copy it onto your computer and without further installation you can start. This is especially interesting if you e.g. would like to get to know Railo better first, or test your applications under Railo or simply use it as development background.
This version though should not be used in production.
Railo Server
The server version is the main version of Railo. This version is delivered with integrated application and Web server . Can therefore be used without any further installation .
Railo Custom
A helpful guide and information for a completely individual installation .
Updating Railo
Perform manual or automatic updates of Railo through the Railo Server Administrator.
Linux
